Resources you can use the same day

This library is written for communities across Canada: practical guides, checklists, and short articles that make participation easier. Each resource is structured like a field note—what the topic is, what to do first, and where to go next.

How we write and update resources

Each resource is built around a simple editorial workflow: outline, practical steps, a short “common pitfalls” section, and a next-step link to a relevant community or event. That structure matters because community learning often fails for unglamorous reasons—unclear expectations, missing context, or a pile of links without a sequence. Our goal is to provide a sequence people can follow.

You will see a consistent voice and “progressive disclosure”: the first screen gives the overview, while deeper sections show optional details. When a topic references external standards or tools, we cite the source or keep it clearly labeled as an editorial recommendation. We also avoid collecting sensitive information. If a topic would normally invite personal details, we phrase it as general guidance and point to safer alternatives.

The platform is operated by FN Beheer B.V. in the Netherlands, and the service area is Canada. That is reflected in examples, time zones, and the way we describe community participation.

Looking for a community to match a resource?

Resources are meant to lead somewhere practical: a topic-based community thread, an event registration, or a small local meetup. If you want the “next step” for a specific guide, start in the Communities catalog and browse by category. The platform avoids public counters and hype; instead, community pages focus on goals, scope, and participation rules.
